IAN CRONSHAW

Ian is a Santa Barbara native and brings over 35 years of building experience to his role on Allen’s Pre-Construction team. Ian has worked at Allen most of his career and has supervised everything from modest bath remodels to complex estate homes. He has a keen ability to build strong relationships with clients, making their building experience as painless as possible.

In working with potential clients, Ian has a knack for looking at a project and offering just the right suggestion on preliminary design, material selection, and how to complete the project on time and on budget. Clients look to Ian not only as their trusted building advisor, but as a good friend.

Some of the highlights of Ian’s career include community projects such as coordinating the efforts to build and donate a prefab home to a family in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi following Hurricane Katrina. In 2009, in response to the Tea Fire, Ian led the effort to build a model green home that was donated to a family who lost their home in the fire. And in January 2018, Ian spearheaded Allen Construction's response to the Montecito Mudflow event.

Ian loves foreign travel, surfing, and his family—wife, Anna and two sons, Brendan and Tristan.
